Examples of previous childrens workshops and learning.
Curriculum ceramics project - Ancient Egypt Canopic jars. The children used the pinch-pot method to shape the jar and sculpted the lids into the animal of their choice. They then added colour using decorating slips. These were later kiln-fired and glazed.
Easter ceramics with Cornmeadow Early Years and Families nursery pre-school. The children rolled textures into clay and added coloured decorating slips. The Clay Lady then kiln fired the pieces and added a transparent glaze and pretty ribbon for the children to display at home. This activity provided a fun and engaging sensory and creative outlet, producing one of kind creations for the children to be proud of.
Friends of Fort Royal Park Community Spring Fest Fayre. Visitors were invited to draw something to do with spring on the prepared canvas. Contributing to an artwork which would be displayed in the community space.
